KaruPDF privacy policy
KaruPDF is published by KaruSystems OÜ. This policy describes the KaruPDF v0.1.0 desktop application, not the KaruSystems website.
Local file processing
KaruPDF processes user-selected PDF documents locally on the user's device. During normal PDF operations, documents are not uploaded to KaruSystems or a third-party cloud service. KaruSystems does not receive the contents of PDFs processed through the desktop application.
Offline use
Core PDF manipulation works locally without an internet connection. This describes the current application; Microsoft Store downloads, purchases and updates, and Windows runtime servicing, may use network connections and are governed by their providers' policies.
No account or advertising
No KaruPDF account or signup is required to work with PDFs. The desktop application contains no advertising or advertising SDKs.
Application analytics and tracking
The current KaruPDF desktop application contains no telemetry, application analytics or user-tracking functionality. This statement applies to the desktop application only. The KaruSystems website has separate analytics and privacy practices.
Exported files
Files exported by KaruPDF are written to locations selected by the user. Original source files remain unchanged by page composition. You control the exported documents and any subsequent sharing.
Data sales
KaruPDF does not sell user data.
