Command Wheel supports Windows 11 on x64 computers.

1. Install Command Wheel from its official Microsoft Store listing.
2. Open Command Wheel from the Windows Start menu.
3. The application starts in the Windows notification area. If its icon is hidden, select the notification-area overflow arrow.
4. Double-click the Command Wheel tray icon, or right-click it and choose Open Settings.

1. Open Settings from the notification-area tray icon.
2. Create or select a wheel.
3. Choose an activation shortcut and either hold-and-release or click-to-execute mode.
4. Add between four and eight actions. Choose the action type, label, target, and optional tooltip, color, and icon.
5. Save the configuration, then use your chosen shortcut to open the wheel at the pointer.

The permanent Settings segment appears in addition to your configurable actions.

• Confirm Command Wheel is running and its tray icon is visible.
• Right-click the tray icon and make sure Command Wheel is enabled.
• Open Settings and check for a shortcut-registration error.
• Try a different keyboard or mouse shortcut, then save the configuration.
• Exit Command Wheel from the tray menu and launch it again.

Windows allows only one application to register a particular global keyboard shortcut. Open Settings, select another supported shortcut, and save. If registration fails, Command Wheel keeps the previously working shortcut where possible and displays an error.

• Open Settings and confirm the selected action type and target.
• For applications, files, and folders, verify that the target still exists and that your Windows account can access it.
• For websites, use a complete http, https, or mailto address.
• For PowerShell commands, test the command separately and confirm that local Windows policy allows it to run.
• Use Open Logs from the tray menu to review the local diagnostic log.

• Turn “Start with Windows” off and on again in Settings.
• Check Windows startup-app settings and make sure Command Wheel is allowed.
• On managed computers, ask the administrator whether startup applications are restricted by policy.
• Launch Command Wheel manually and check Settings for an error.

• Confirm that the selected application or icon file still exists.
• Open the action in Settings and select the icon again.
• If an EXE or DLL contains several icons, try another icon index.
• Save the wheel and reopen it. Command Wheel periodically refreshes and cleans its local icon cache.
